Hi! My name is Sergey. I work here at YWAM Moscow. I'm involved in the fascinating ministry of administration which means I get to do all kinds of interesting things like look at a computer screen and push on the buttons on the computer keyboard, sit in meetings, write things down on paper and things like that. Okay, well I am commited to administration because it is really important for us to continue to develop the mission here in Moscow and reach the city, but it's not my greatest passion and it's not why I joined YWAM.

I am a drummer. As a matter of fact, that's how most people know me. They call me Sergey Drummer and I'm pretty sure that many people think that Drummer is really my last name. It's not, but there is a reason people might think it is. You see, music is my passion. To be exact, music in missions is my passion. I believe in music in missions because it was through music that I came to know Christ.

I have a dream of a new wave of people who share my passion for music and the arts in missions coming to Moscow and all throughout Russia. Music and the arts are keys that can open doors not only to orphanages, prisons, schools, churches, and clubs around Russia, but more importantly they are keys to the hearts of the Russian people.

Check out this band that I am a part of. We started a jam club in downtown Moscow. I also am the music administrator at my church. I even find the time to tutor some people on the drums. And I ask you to come and join with me in reaching Russia through music.
